Our Rental Properties insurance policy is designed with the Developer and Institutional Investor in mind and can provide a tailored level of cover across the PRS sector including Build to Rent, student accommodation and permitted development schemes.
The policy is designed to:
Ensure build quality - via our design audit and inspection procedures, including up front advice and consultation.
Protect the asset - in the event of a defect at any point during the policy.
Provide an exit strategy - should the owner wish to sell the asset, the policy is fully assignable.
Liability for defects is limited solely to the Builder in the initial 1 or 2 year defect insurance period. If the builder fails to rectify a defect, we will rectify it for you.
The Developer and Institutional Investor will not have to rectify any defects throughout the full period of cover and Premier Guarantee will transfer all risks after the initial defects insurance period.
We can offer a mix of 1 or 2 year defect periods as part of a 10 or 12 year policy; together with loss of rent, alternative accommodation and flexible financial limits.
