Our Surveying Process

The greatest part of the Premier Guarantee service is the partnership between you and our Surveyors.

Premier Guarantee Surveyors are Construction Industry Council (CIC) Approved Inspectors meaning we are fully qualified to undertake Building Control inspections as well as Structural Warranty inspections. This not only saves you time by combining both assessments but also reduces the cost.

How the surveying process works

Our surveying process has been designed to offer house builders the greatest level of technical support in the market. With regular site visits from your dedicated Risk Management Surveyor and technical guidance from our Technical Manual, apps and monthly technical releases you will be fully supported from the beginning of construction through to practical completion.

Stage 1 - Surveying Process

Plan review

Once your order has been accepted we will ask you to submit your plans for review. Our dedicated team of specialists will review your designs and provide reports with constructive advice for meeting the requirements of the Building Regulations.

Stage 2 - Surveying Process

Technical audit

A dedicated Premier Guarantee Risk Management Surveyor will be assigned to your project whose first task will be to undertake a technical audit of your project. Here we will work with you to create your bespoke technical inspection plan based on the complexity of your build.

Stage 3 - Surveying Process

Construction begins

As agreed in the technical audit your dedicated Risk Management Surveyor will undertake on-site inspections in line with the construction of your development. 

Our surveyors will bring items of concern to the attention of the site management team who can then discuss resolutions with the principal designer. Following site visits our surveyors will prepare a report which will highlight any areas of construction which require further consideration by the principal designer for the scheme.

Stage 4 - Surveying Process

Completion

On final inspection your Risk Management Surveyor will be able to approve your project so you can receive your Certificate of Insurance and Building Control Certificate.
